The defendant was confronted by officers while he was walking in the middle of the roadway. The suspect became combative and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Controlled substances and paraphernalia were discovered a search incident to arrest.
Officers were dispatched to the residence for the report of a verbal domestic situation. While no physical violence occurred, the suspect was reported to have broken through a door to gain access to the victim. While on scene, officers recovered drug paraphernalia from the suspect.
On October 3rd, 2017 officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 1600 block of Pine Street. Once on scene it was found that James "Bam" Hopper had used a firearm to commit a Robbery. Hopper's intended victim used his legally owned firearm in self defense. Hopper was shot in the face and back...
