On January 1, 2024 at 1743 hours this department was dispatched to 436 Knob Mountain Road for a report of gun shots being fired. Further information was that Thomas Hresko was outside the residence in a side by side all terrain vehicle and was intoxicated and firing a gun after accusing the caller of sleeping with his wife.
Upon arrival Hresko was located in the driveway of the residence sitting in his side by side vehicle. Hresko was taken into custody. Upon speaking with Hresko he was observed to have glossy and bloodshot eyes and his speech was slurred. Hresko was then placed into the rear of the patrol vehicle. The glove box on the side by side vehicle was observed to be open and a .357 caliber revolver was located with the handle sticking out of the glovebox. Upon unloading the revolver, it was found to have three spent cartridges and three unspent cartridges.
The victim stated they were at Hresko's residence and they each consumed one beer. Hresko then drove the victim back to his residence on his side by side. Upon arriving at the residence, Hresko began to accuse the victim of having a relationship with his wife. The victim went inside to get Hresko a drink. The victim stated that he was on the deck of his residence when Hresko fired a gun shot into the air. The victim then went inside the residence at which time Hresko fired another round into the air. The victim then called police.
