Catawissa Borough Police Department is searching for 31-year-old James S. CALIGIURI who is wanted on charges for Domestic Violence and Child Abuse that occurred in July 2021.

The victim reported that she had been strangled, kicked and punched by CALIGIURI as well as her 3-year-old child of which CALIGIURI is the father.  The child was hit so hard on multiple occasions that it left marks on the child’s body.

CALIGIURI was born in Russia and speaks with an accent.

CALIGIURI was last seen walking away from his brother’s house at 507 Hillside Village, Catawissa on 9/10/2021.

CALIGIURI does not have a driver’s license or a vehicle. He is from Florida and may be attempting to flee to that area via a bus or other means.
