On Sunday September 24, 2023, at approximately 2133 hours, Officer Vazquez was dispatched to 400 Block of North Second Street in the borough of Catawissa for a hit and run incident that had recently occurred.

The damaged vehicle owner and her son were at home when they heard a loud noise coming from the front of their residence. The owner said her son observed a man getting into a vehicle and driving away. Shortly after, the same vehicle had passed by their house again. After, the owner inspected her vehicle where she discovered damage near the front fog light on the driver's side of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that did the hit and run was described as an elderly man. The vehicle is believed to be an older model sedan, gold in color.

There was minor damage to the parked vehicle, including a small dent and a couple of scratches located above it. The damage to the vehicle measured approximately one inch in width and two inches in length.
