A new stop sign has been placed on Quaker Meeting House Road at the intersection with Slabtown Road. This location is near the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Slabtown. A "Stop Ahead" sign has been placed prior to the stop sign.

Numidia Drive has been reopened..

There is a single vehicle accident in Numidia, SR42, just north of Ringtown Mountain Road intersection. There is a utility pole down and low wires. Please use an alternate route. Unknown how l9ng the roadway will be closed.

Even though we are experiencing a switch over to rain, roadways are still hazardous. Please drive responsibly and SLOWLY. The slush covered roads still are making roads slippery. There is also two stuck tractor trailers on SR487 (Southern Dr) between 3-points and Rohrbachs Farm Market.

UPDATE - This male, Paul Foulds, is in custody. Please contact this department if you have video or photos of FOULDS, on or around your property this evening. We had reports of him being observed on a Ring camera on Locust Lane.

A chocolate lab was found in the area of 710 Old Reading Rd., If you know of the owner of this dog or are the owner please call 570-799-5806.

UPDATE:

The dog wandered into the woods in the 700 Block of Old Reading Road while officers were attempting to locate the owner. If you see the dog in these pictures please call 570-799-5806

A contractor will be working on Lake Glory Road today and tomorrow. Crews will be spreading the necessary sub-base material in preparation for the upcoming reclamation eork next week. Please avoid using this roadway.
