On the date of August 03, 2018 at approximately 01:31 hours, the Scott Township Police Department was dispatched to the report of a suspicious male who appeared to be looking in vehicles at the garage located at 1191 Main street (Village of Lightstreet). Officers arrived on scene and checked the area for the male. Officers thoroughly checked the property and located a male hiding underneath a passenger van. The male was identified as Donald A. Glatt, who was taken into custody without incident.   Upon further investigation it was learned that Glatt's purpose for being at the garage was to steal parts from the various vehicles. Glatt faces charges for Theft, Loitering and prowling and possessing instruments of crime.  Due to a vigilant and observant citizen, Officers were able to stop the theft and apprehend the offender before he was able to steal any property.
