On March 1, 2020, K-9 Officer Edgar, K-9 partner Miso, members of the Columbia County Drug Task Force, Bloomsburg Police Department and Bloomsburg University Police Department executed a search warrant at 53 Iron Street in the Town of Bloomsburg.
During the search, officers recovered approximately 6 ounces of cocaine, 1 ounce of MDMA (Molly), 9 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, hundreds of empty glassine baggies used for packaging, several digital scales with residue, cutting agents, over $2600 of US currency, multiple pre-packaged glassine baggies of MDMA and cocaine, and a handgun.
As a result of the drug investigation and search warrant, Nicholas Grindrod was taken into custody. Grindrod was arraigned by District Judge Lawton on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver and other drug related offenses. Grindrod was lodged at the Columbia County Prison on $25,000 bail.
