On August 7, 2019, Officer Edgar from the Bloomsburg Police Department completed a drug investigation and served a search warrant at 909 East 8th Street in the Town of Bloomsburg where Ronald E. Broadt aka "Moxie" was taken into custody. During the search, officers recovered approximately 2.5 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, various prescription pills, marijuana, packaging materials, over $3600.00 of US currency and a stolen handgun. Broadt was arraigned by District Judge Richard Knecht and housed at the Columbia County Prison on $75,000 bail.
