On Saturday, December 10th, 2022, at approximately 0519 hours, the Bloomsburg Police Department was dispatched to a stabbing victim in the area of the Police Station. The victim was found to have sustained 1 puncture wound to their lower back. The victim indicated the assault happened in the area of East 6th and Catherine Street at about 0419 hours. The victim stated he was approached from behind by 3 male subjects. The victim described the actors as (1) male wearing jeans, (1) wearing sweatpants, and (1) wearing black pants. All three males were wearing masks.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center Danville for treatment.
Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the actors in this incident and anyone with cameras in the area is asked to check and see if they captured the assault.
