Residents and visitors to the Town of Bloomsburg are advised of construction activity in the area of the Pine Avenue Parking Lot (Zone E).  This parking lot is currently being renovated and remains under construction at this time.  This lot is accessible to vehicles; but, parking has been prohibited to this point in the construction project.  Due to the anticipated number of visitors coming to Bloomsburg for Homecoming weekend, at the urging of local businesses, parking restrictions will not be enforced in this lot (and this lot ONLY) throughout the weekend.  

A number of obstacles (to include grates and manhole covers) are raised above the asphalt base layer. Persons using these lots or traversing the area are advised to proceed with caution. Because parking spaces remain un-delineated at this time, anyone electing to park in this area does so at their own risk; and, should use caution and avoid parking in any manner which would limit access to other vehicles.

Construction will resume and top coat paving is expected to begin at 7 A.M Monday, October 16, 2023.  Any vehicles in this area at that time will be towed at the owner’s expense.
