Subject: No Parking Notices Related to Special Snow Conditions

The Bloomsburg Police Department is notifying all motorists of a no parking notice related to snow removal on Main Street and East Street in the Town of Bloomsburg.  Bloomsburg Public Works Department will be engaged in snow removal operations beginning at 3:00 AM Saturday morning, December 19, 2020.  The snow removal area will be the following two areas:

Main Street between East Street and West Street

East Street between Columbia Blvd and East Main Street.

“No Parking” signs will be posted by 3:00 PM today, Friday, December 18, 2020.  Any vehicle parked in the areas indicated above after 3:00 AM Saturday December 19, 2020 will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Additionally Bloomsburg Public works anticipates some snow removal operations next week in the Town municipal parking lots.  We are asking any persons who park in these lots to move their vehicles to a cleared portion of the lot.  Public works may be removing the large piles of snow and clearing snowed in parking spaces.  Parking in the cleared areas will allow Public Works to remove snow without interference of parked vehicles.

Bloomsburg residents are reminded the week of December 20, 2020 is a street maintenance week and residents are required to follow posted regulatory signs related to days and times when parking is prohibited during that week.
