Ref:   Construction beginning at the Tri-lot parking area

The Bloomsburg Police Department would like to notify the public that starting August 1, 2022, construction will begin on the Tri-lot parking area. This area will be posted with no parking signs starting Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 1700 hours. Vehicles that remain in this area will be ticketed and towed to allow construction to begin Monday, August 1, 2022.

Project overview:

August 1^st - 12^th: Northern part of the Tri-lot milled (island area as the separator)- Entrance off of East Main Street/SR0011 will remain in place with lower exit and entrance from North Street.

August 15^th- 26^th: Southern part of the Tri lot total reconstruction (island area as the separator)- Entrance off of East Main Street/SR0011 will be closed off and the parking lot can only be accessed from North Street on the northern portion. During this phase, Public Works will paint temporary lines on the Northern section of the lot for the public to park.

After both phases are complete, the full lot will be closed for paving. The timeframe and exact closure dates are unknown at this time.
