The Columbia County District Attorney’s Office is partnering with the Bloomsburg Police Department to offer free Naloxone kits (Narcan) to the public.  Over the last several years, the opioid epidemic has surged and there has been an increase in opioid overdoses, many even due to accidental exposures.  Narcan (Naloxone) is an opioid reversal drug that blocks the effect of opioids and can revive the person experiencing the overdose within minutes of the administration of the kit.
 
The giveaway will be held on Tuesday, 10/25/2022 from 12 PM to 3 PM outside of Bloomsburg Town Hall.
