**Important Burn Ban Notification**

For your reference, we have attached Columbia County Resolution 5-2024, which implements a temporary countywide ban on open fires (https://bit.ly/40y414L), as well as the 025 Pa. Code §129.14. Open Burning Operations Document (https://bit.ly/40E7PRY). The County Commissioners unanimously approved this Resolution at their meeting on November 7, 2024. It is crucial that you adhere to this burn ban to ensure the safety of everyone's property. By doing so, we can also help keep our volunteer firefighters out of harm's way, allowing them to enjoy some well-deserved downtime.
